Lyman Forest Hart Sr. of Barling, AR, passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021. He was born February 27th, 1933 in Yoestown AR, to Henry Hart and Grace Conyer. He started, owned, and operated Hart’s Mountain Nursery in Barling for 50 year’s. He also worked as a Driver / Trainer for J.B. Hunt, as well as Head Security Guard for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Bluff Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his four sons Lyman Forest Hart, Jr. of Alma, John David Hart of Alma, Howard Scott Hart of Fort Smith, and Michael Scott Hart of Barling, grandchildren Lyman Hart III, Karey Hart, Nikki Hernandez, Sarah Maili Stewart, and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marieta L. Hart.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with a burial at Barling Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lyman Forest Hart, Jr. John David Hart, Howard Scott Hart, Michael Scott Hart, Jose Hernandez, and Jesse James Wise. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyman Forest Hart, III and Erik Ramm.
