He is survived by his father and stepmother, Ronnie and Naoma King of Chester; his brother, Kenneth King of Red Bluff, California; and his sister, Kim Tinsley and husband Ben, and his sister Karla Truett, both of Van Buren; two stepbrothers, Kenneth, and Jonathan Odom; and one stepsister, Carol Brown, of Natural Dam; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Kent worked in the printing business and was at the Ribeye Restaurant for several years. He did not always have good health, but his humor and good attitude brought him many friends. His heart of compassion made him a natural care giver and he was a blessing to the Masingale family whom he loved as his second family.
We are blessed that the kidney given to him by his brother, Kenneth, granted him almost fifteen more years of life. We are confident that he is now safe in the arms of Jesus. We will miss him and love him always.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Michael King, Damian King, Tony Atwell, Andrew Atwell, Nicholas Tinsley and Mike McCabe.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
