James “Jim” Daniel Azbell, 75, passed from this life October 12, 2024. He was born August 11, 1949 in Blytheville, AR to Arnold J. Azbell and Vallie (Jeffries) Azbell. Jim was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and he was an Army Veteran. Jim was an avid collector of baseball cards, and he was a Detroit Tigers fan, and enjoyed following the Razorbacks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Donald Ray Azbell, Ella Louise “Suzie” Azbell, and Wayne Wimberly.
He is survived by his brother, Ron Azbell and wife Cathy of Paris, AR; niece, Lisa Azbell of Fort Smith; good friend, Marc Riney of Fort Smith; loyal and faithful friend, Cindy Seaton Cagle.
Graveside Service will be 2 PM Monday, October 21, 2024 at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
