Henry Hall passed from this life January 22nd, 2021. He was born November 27th, 1944 in White Bluff, Tennessee. He joined the Navy at the young age of 17 where he served in the engine room as a mechanic and fireman. Upon leaving the Navy, he began work in the oilfield business using the skills and training he received in the military. After selling his business, he was passionate about helping veterans in need. He served as the Oklahoma State DAV Commander and was active in the VFW. He helped construct the VFW post #8384 in Muldrow, Oklahoma and designed and raised funds for the bell towers at the Fort Gibson and Fort Smith National Cemeteries. He dedicated himself to helping, educating, and advocating for fellow service members by working through the VFW and DAV, where his tireless efforts benefitted the members of the organizations for years. He also was instrumental in creating Students Against Drugs and Alcohol (SADA) which educated students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Hall, parents, Doyle Jason Hall and Hattie Marie McCarty, brother Sherill McCarty and 2 childhood siblings. He is survived by, John Hall, son, Harrison Hall, grandson, both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, brother, Jerry Hall of San Diego, California and sister, Othelia Swinney of Midland, Texas as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. It was his wish to be cremated and his ashes to be placed with his wife at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
