Bill was born on November 16th 1933 in Poteau, Oklahoma to William Roy Jarrard and Mary Elizabeth Jarrard. He departed this life on June 6th 2023 after a long battle with heart disease.
He grew up as the only child surrounded with love and attention from his parents, grandmother, and aunt and uncle.
After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan where he served the Country he loved.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Polly Ann Jarrard and survived by their children Barbara Diane Higley and William David Jarrard.
Bill’s positive attitude and consistent encouragement will be missed by all, that had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Graveside Service will be 12 Noon Monday, June 12, 2023, at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
