Betty Tisdale, 72, of Fort Smith, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in a local nursing home. She was born on June 24, 1950 in Fort Smith to the late Robert and Gladys (Pettigrew) Rust. Betty was retired from Wal-Mart. She was an active supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sue Frame; a brother, John Rust and a brother-in-law, Leonard Brumley.
There are no services scheduled, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Robert Frias of Fort Smith; three sisters, Josie Taylor of Fort Smith, Joyce Vandermer (David) of Sheridan, Michigan and Helen Brumley of Fort Smith; a brother, Robert Rust of Sacramento, California, along with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
