Beatrice Ann Schlaf, age 90, entered into eternal life on May 26, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. She was born December 26, 1921 in Morrison Bluff, AR to the late Joseph, Sr. and Anna Geels Siebenmorgen. Beatrice was the widow of Stephen Schlaf and was preceded in death by one sister, Sister Annene Siebenmorgen, OSB; three brothers George Siebenmorgen, William Siebenmorgen, and Anthony Siebenmorgen; one son-in-law, Kenneth Carson, and one great-granddaughter, Anna Sophia Caram. After her marriage to Stephen Schlaf, she lived in Fort Smith where she was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, was a volunteer at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, and volunteered for numerous activities at St. Boniface School and Church. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America, served as an Oblate of St. Benedict at St. Scholastica Monastery, and attended Little Rock Cursillo #13. Beatrice moved to Springdale in 2006 and was a member of St. Raphael Parish. She had resided at Culpepper Assisted Living Facility since 2009. Beatrice is survived by five daughters, Marilyn Carson, Victoria (Paul) Hart, Annette Schlaf, Patricia (David) Louk, and Joan (Adam) Granholm; eight grandchildren, Emily Hart (Freddie) Caram, Kristen Carson (Nuno) Rego, Amy Hart, Stephen (Rachel) Hart, Matthew Manuel, Abigail Manuel, Rhiannon Granholm, and Garrott Granholm; two great-grandchildren William Caram and Destiny Rego; one brother, Joseph Siebenmorgen, Jr.; two sisters, Magdalen Cesare and Mary Ann Weisenfels; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Siebenmorgen and Benita Siebenmorgen and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Saint Boniface Catholic Church, 1820 North B Street, Fort Smith with the Reverend John Antony presiding. Burial will follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5403 North O Street. Pallbearers will be Matthew Manuel, Freddie Caram, Terry Siebenmorgen, Michael Siebenmorgen, Adrian Weisenfels, and Mark Siebenmorgen. Memorial Donations to St. Scholastica Monastery, 1301 S.
