Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Ann Jones, 82, of Fort Smith, died August 22, 2015 in Fort Smith due to cancer that had metastasized and spread throughout her body. Barbara was born December 30, 1932 in Ida, LA to Saint Elmo and Arli Mina Barber Terry. She was the previous owner of Air Compressor Equipment Company (ACEC) and worked until January of 2015. She was instrumental in keeping all accounts current and everyone paid. ACEC was truly her life.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny Ray and wife Sandra Jones of Fort Smith, Larry Joe Jones of Fort Smith, and Ronnie Gene Jones of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Jimmy Jones & wife Jaime, Brice Jones & wife Sarah, Reece Jones, Brandi Jones, and Larry Jones; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Brice Jones, Reece Jones, Larry Jones, Brad Wheeler, Michael Young and Brandon Rauser.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM
