Audra Marie (Schmidt) Hall, 55, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born on January 30, 1968 in Fort Smith. Audra was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, where she was a pre-school teacher for many years. Growing up, Audra attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Northside High School, where she was an N Stepper. She was very involved with the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, was part of the research to find a cure and a member of the Walk of Hope.
Audra is survived by her daughter, Lexie Hall, of Roland, OK; two sisters, Angie Arnold and her husband Steve, of Greenbrier, AR and Amy Schmidt Graham of Fort Smith; her brother, Roger Schmidt and his wife Jennifer, of Fort Smith, along with two grandchildren, Liliana Hall and Avory Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Carolyn (Polk) Schmidt.
She was blessed to have her “Tribe”. Her high school friends, whom surrounded her with love: Heather Beene, Kathy Palmer, Stacey Catsavis, Amye Drackett, Joanie Testa, Dara Doss and Wendy Thompson.
Audra loved her family, especially being a MiMi to her grandkids. She truly loved being around people and she always greeted them with a big hug and excitement on her face.
There will be a visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home, with the rosary service to immediate follow at 6:30 PM, in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2023 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with burial of ashes to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Schmidt, Spencer Schmidt, Summer Schmidt, Paige Vrbas, Clay Vrbas, Emily Whelan and Tatum Graham.
