Gloria will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Alan, children, Kelli, Scott (Janet), grandchildren Chelsea (Jared), Mikayla, Kiera (Ethan), Christian (Caitlyn) and Kaden, great-granddaughter Eleanor, as well as her sister Jean (Colin) Timcke. She will also be greatly missed by her large extended family and friends.
Gloria is predeceased by her Mother Lillian and Father William Pudney.
Born in the United Kingdom, Gloria moved to Canada, and eventually settled on a beautiful acreage in Sturgeon County with her husband and children. Gloria loved spending time with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nanny. She took pride in her beautiful garden and spent many hours outside enjoying it. She was a wonderful cook and loved getting the family together every week for her famous Sunday dinner and the occasional board games. She loved travelling to locations such as England to visit family, the warm beaches of Mexico, a road trip to Harrison Hot Springs or relaxing at the lake. Gloria will be remembered for her feisty nature and her love for her endless cup of tea.
The family would like to send a thank you to the wonderful staff at Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Private Family Service will be held, and Gloria will be interred at the City of Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery.
If so desired in lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to Alberta Lung Association or the Alberta Cancer Foundation to The Cross Cancer Institute.
