FISHER - Isabelle Marie Fisher (nee Girard) of Lipton, Saskatchewan, beloved wife of Marvin Fisher, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the All Nations Healing Hospital at Fort Qu'Appelle with her loving family by her side.
Isabelle was loved dearly and will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her husband, Marvin and their children, son Jeffrey (Amanda) Fisher and granddaughter, Madeline; daughter Nicole Fisher and grandsons, Dakota, Dawson, and Cole; her immediate family: sister Rita (Larry) Domstead; brother Ron Girard; brother Bill (Brenda) Girard; brother-in-law Al Earis; Marvin's family: Gwenda Watson, Myrna (Joe) Frank; Della (Jim) Allen; Kathy (Bob) Sanderson; Sheila (David) Buckle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co- workers.
Isabelle was predeceased by her father and mother, Clement and Rose Girard; her sister, Trudy Earis; Marvin's parents, Philip and Dorothy Fisher; and, Marvin's sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Ken Gudereit and their children Lara and Nathan.
Isabelle was a very caring person and worked for over 40 years as a Special Care Aide. She began her career in the late 60s and finished her working career at Echo Lodge in Fort Qu'Appelle. In addition to her working, she was also an equal and active partner in the operation of the family farm in Lipton. It was on the farm where Isabelle was the happiest. She loved the grain farming part of farm life and the smell of freshly turned soil. Some of her happiest moments were when she was checking on her cows during calving season, feeding them or tending to a calf that needed a little extra help. She also loved gardening and every year planted many flowers which were always admired by family, friends and neighbours. While she loved so many things on the farm, two of her greatest loves were her grandchildren and the hummingbirds. For both of these loves, she would anxiously await their arrival. Isabelle will be dearly missed by us all, but her suffering has ended and she is now at peace.
We would like to thank the staff at All Nation's Healing Hospital for the excellent care provided to Isabelle and would like to thank all who visited and spent time with her and her family in their time of need. For this, the family will forever be grateful and thankful.
