Steven Jon Holter, 68 of Dry Branch, Georgia formerly of Ocala, Florida and born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida passed away on January 1, 2021 at Coliseum Hospital in Macon, Georgia. He was born on August 27, 1952.
He worked for years in the construction industry and loved the outdoors! He was an avid hunter and fisherman! He caught many a Snook in the Sebastian Inlet and the Indian River Lagoon...staying out all night! He loved classic cars, especially his 1969 El Camino and riding motorcycles with his son Kevin! Steve loved to cook and was always making a better pizza or homemade soup to share. He was kind and generous and would give you the shirt off his back even if he didn't have one! His sense of humor always came out of left field, and always made you laugh!
Steve was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Jon Holter, his mother Edna Mae Holter, grandson Chase Holter and brother-in-law Douglas Prevatte.
He is survived by his son Kevin Holter and his wife Deanna Holter, sisters Christine Holter and her husband Mark Warnick and Sandie Prevatte, grandsons Spencer and Boyd, nephew Shawn and nieces Tammy and Melissa.
