Steven Bradford Turner, 66, of Fort Myers, passed away suddenly in his home on March 10th, 2023. He lived an incredible life as a father, artist, residential and commercial designer, skateboarder, and surfer. His family and friends know he is surfing the big wave in the sky, his trademark laugh echoing as he entertains all the angels and his beloved parents.
Steve is dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sons, Sam and Tim, his lifelong friend and former wife, Mollie, and many others in SWFL and beyond whom he considered family and friends.
Steve was born in Lima, Ohio, and raised in Ft. Lauderdale. As a young man, he moved to California, professionally skateboarding, surfing, and honing his innate artistic skills.
He later returned to Florida and settled in Fort Myers, where he became a renowned graphic artist and home designer with his company, Bradford & Company Design Group and SIM Art Gallery.
His artistic and architectural contributions can be seen worldwide, including in Panama, Costa Rica, and across the US. His work in Southwest Florida has impacted the area immeasurably. He was especially proud of his work designing and leading the Cape Harbor project in Cape Coral.
Steve's legacy will persist through his art, design work, and his children. He was a devoted father, and took great pride in raising his sons.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at 11am at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Fl.
