Steven loved life. He started playing guitar in his friends garage at a very young age. He went on to perform in several bands in the Sarasota and Fort Myers area, loving every minute of it. Along with his music he enjoyed boating, his church, history, collecting old bottles, cruising with his wife and telling goofy jokes with his catch phase always being “Oh Well “.
He worked as an electrician while teaching himself computer programming, which he made his lifelong career path. He most recently worked with the School Board of Lee County and enjoyed the challenges it brought into his everyday life, loving his part as the guitar player for a band put together for school events.
He attended Alva United Methodist Church, for which he was part of the Praise Team. He thoroughly enjoyed singing and playing for the Lord.
The thing he valued most in his life was his family and friends. He never met a person he didn't like. Steve's radiance shined through the moment you met him. He was a salt of the earth person who helped anyone in need and was your friend for life. He was always there to lend a hand, talk things through, feed you if you were hungry, give you a safe place to stay and be your shoulder to cry on if you needed one. He will be deeply missed by us all.
We love you! Until we meet again…..
