Roberta Anne Kolis

September 14, 1938 - February 22, 2022

'The family would like to welcome everyone who gathered here today to celebrate the life of Roberta Anne Kolis, better known ad Bobbi. Bobbi began her journey of life on September 14, 1938, in Auburn, New York. She had joined her parents, Walter and Mary Kilian, her first husband Oran Kolhepp, and her son baby Walt. She is survived by her husband Gene Kolis; sibling Walt Kilian and is wife, Mary Lou; Yolanda Butler and her husband, John; children

Debbi Licamele and her husband, Bob; Mary Anne Kolhepp; Cindy Sanchez; Karen Monos

and her husband, Andy; Wally Kolhepp and his wife, Patti; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Bobbi was a natural athlete. She was proud of her medals in track and sharp shooting. She was an accomplished bowler who earned the right to participate in the Florida Bowling Queens, the 600 club, and wad a senior tournament winner. She also enjoyed playing softball, tennis, and golf. She was active in passing her love for athletics to the next generation. She was a founding member of the Lehigh Raiders Football Club to give her son and his friend an opportunity to play football.

Her career began at Syracuse Saving Banh. While working there she earned her Associated degree in banking which allowed her to advance to Assistant Manager. After moving to Florida, she worked as a mortgage cling officer and retired from North American 1itle Company.

A few more things you may not know about Bobbi. She expressed her love through actions, because actions speak louder than words. When she heard the phrase “you can’t do that”, she would prove them wrong. She loved going to Vegas to play Pai Gow. She loved an adventure that wad Jun and challenging; like quilting with her daughters, painting with her family, and trying new recipes for her loved one. While out with family and friends she loved to turn it into a game of hide and seek. She may have been small in stature, but she was amazingly strong and independent.

Her greatest achievement wad raising her family. She was so proud of being a Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma. She was there for all her grandchildren from birth. Some of her favorite moments in life wad when the entire family would gather at her house for Holidays and Special Occasions. She antiquely loved cooking and visiting with them. 'This timed will be truly missed by all her family.

Now I will read a message from her 11-year-old great-granddaughter:

You will forever be with us in our hearts. We love you and miss you. May you rest in peace. We love you and you are in a safe place now.

In closing, even in death Bobbi brings her family closer together.
