He was born on May 5, 1950 to Robert and Laviene Schomer.
Robert is predeceased by his father Robert L Schomer, Sr.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; mother, Laviene Bash; step father, Charles Bash Sr; children: Robert III, Glenn, Brian, Jennifer (Daniel) Rogers, Stacie (Khris) Kolnicki, Jason (Rebecca) Schomer; siblings: Linda (Rob) Porter, Kathy (Ralph) Pleasant, Debbie (Charles) Grimes, Alan (Candy) Schomer, Michael (Simone) Tolley, Chad (Dana) Bash; grandchildren: Matthew, kyrie, Siarah, Katilyn, Shyanne, Jonathan, Paige, Maknsi, Jamie, Hunter, Fisher, Kuper, Angela, Skyler, Jessica, and seven great grandchildren. As well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed the time he spent with his kids, and grandchildren. He loved family dinners, holidays and family reunions. Bob worked in the petroleum equipment industry for over 50 years. He loved his work and was always there for his customers. He always said he would never retire. In addition to his work, he enjoyed carpentry and gardening, and could always find a way to fix just about anything. Bob was a people person. He loved to talk to everyone he met. All strangers became friends. Bob was with the PGK Knights of Columbus Council 8440. He was the owner operator for JBR Services. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church for over 46 years. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him, and will be deeply missed.
