Lilly spent her life as a dedicated Christian and member of the Jehovah’s Witness World Wide Christian Organization. In 1969 Lilly dedicated her life to serving Jehovah. She attended the Cape Coral Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Lillian is survived by her (2) Brothers, Ronald and Donald Johnson of Saginaw, Michigan. She is also survived by (8) children whom she loved dearly, Evelyn (Preame) Garrett of Lexington, Kentucky, Albert (Shawn) Johnson of Los Angeles, California, Anthony (Shelly) Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky, Levi (Ann) Long of Cape Coral, Florida, Diane (Alonzo) Wrenn of Bay City, Michigan, John Long, of Sacramento, California, Sherri (Lonzo) Campbell of Cape Coral, Florida, and Barbara Long Toney, of North Fort Myers, Florida. Lilly was also a beloved Grandmother to (25) Grandchildren, (28) Great Grandchildren and (2) Great -Great grandchildren, Special Friends Arthur Lee, Kellum, Florice Williams, and David Carr. Lilly was preceded in death by her husband, John Levi Long, her sister Agnes Johnson, and her brothers Oliver Frazier, Sylvester Johnson, Osborne Johnson, Urban Kenneth Johnson and Life Long Friend Ruby Baker.
Lilly loved God, Family and Friends. For 54 years, she preached “The Good News of The Kingdom” offering hope and encouragement to others. She enjoyed gathering with her family and friends (Many, Many, Friends). Whether times were good or bad she offered everyone support and good humor to lighten the day!
Lilly appreciated all of Jehovah’s creations nature, animals and song! Her favorite Christian songs were “Jehovah Is My Refuge” and “When all things are New”!
We will truly miss our beloved mother and Lilly! We find hope and comfort in the fact the she will be in Jehovah’s Memory and a Hope for the Resurrection here on earth! Revelations 21: 3 -4
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 9th 2020 via Zoom Video Conference.
The service will be officiated by Brother Joe Evansons, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Northwest Congregation, Cape Coral Florida.
