Kristina Marie Josie

Kristina Marie Josie, 32, of Fort Myers passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on May 20, 2017. Known to most as Krissy, she was born on February 21, 1985, in Fort Myers, Florida to Manny and Lynn Josie.

Krissy attended Estero High School as part of the Class of 2003 and later attended Sunstate Academy to pursue her dream of having a career in the beauty industry. After realizing her true passion and accomplishing tremendous success, Krissy went on to open the Cutting Garage in 2015, a men’s hair shop located in Bonita Springs. Her beloved clients would describe Krissy as kind, compassionate, and full of life. Known for her ease of conversation, entertaining stubbornness, and contagious laugh, Krissy was loved by many and always surrounded by friends.

Krissy is survived by her daughter, Destiny; her parents, Lynn and Manny; her two sisters, Jamielyn and Amanda; her two brothers, Daniel and Mitchell; and her grandmother, Therese Lagueux Bissonnette. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Lagueux.

The viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home in Fort Myers and the funeral will be on Friday at 11:00 am at the Church of the Resurrection in Fort Myers.
