Joseph Arlie Krahling

Joseph A Krahling, 82, of Ft Myers Florida passed away on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 after an extended illness. Joe was born in Washington DC to Joseph and Arline Krahling. Siblings are Charles (Luchi) of California, Arline (Bob) of West Palm Beach, FL, Chris (Julie) of Maryland and Catherine who is deceased. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Thornton Krahling of Ft Myers and children Terry (Dave) Williams of St Augustine, Daniel Krahling of Virginia, Wendy (Aaron) Bartlett, also of St Augustine, and Kelly (Jim) Eldringhoff of Maryland...Grandchildren include Tayler Kent Feminella (Matt) and Sara Kent, Tara Krahling, Riley and Brynna Bartlett, Mason and Evan Phoenix, Hannah Eldringhoff, Laura Johnson (John) and Nadine Williams. Great grandchildren are Will Feminella and Sean Johnson.

Joe was a graduate of Bishop John Carroll HS and Ben Franklin College in MD. He was a US Army Veteran and a Career FBI Agent, last assigned to FBI Headquarters in DC and serving as SAC of Alexandria, VA Field Office.

Joe was involved with and supported various charitable causes such as St Jude Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Wounded Warriors, Former Special Agents of the FBI, and Bishop John Carroll HS.

No religious or funeral services are planned at this time.

Two very special members of his immediate family who brought him a great deal of happiness and much joy were his two small dogs Little and Higgins.
