Heaven has a new resident. On April 16, 2015 EVELYN J. HATTON lost her struggle with cancer and was called home from Cape Coral, Florida by her Lord. Evelyn was born in 1934 in West Virginia to Rev. George I. and Katie Loar. Being the oldest of four, Evelyn had lots of responsibilities and was talented in many things. She married Lester E. Hatton, Jr and had two children, but her marriage didn't last. Accounting is what she settled on for a career choice, but gardening was really her passion. After retirement she could be found helping the less fortunate of her community through volunteer programs and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her companion Gene, her brother George, and her daughter Patricia as well as her daughter-in-law Sara. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and James and her son David. She will be remembered as a polite, knowledgeable charitable lady who always wore a dress on Sunday and a smile everyday. She is awesome!
