Edith Elaine (Stuber) Lapish, 97, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022. She was born in Ohio to Claude and Nora Stuber. She married Richard Lapish in 1948. She received a Bachelors of Education from Bowling Green State University and her Masters of Education from Toledo University. Edith taught school at Birmingham Elementary and East Side Central, both in Toledo.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Susan (Joseph) Finucane; grandchildren Matthew R (Sabrina) Finucane, Andrew T (Sonja) Finucane and Paige Lisk; great-grandchildren Hope Frye, Lux Frye and Gemma Finucane. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lapish and son William R. Lapish.
