Daniel William Dauber

Daniel William Dauber of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2017 after an aggressive fight against esophageal cancer. He was 69. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Valeria (Szjana) Dauber and Albert Dauber. Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Gladys (Phillips) Dauber, his step-daughter and her husband, Melanie (Heckman) Herwig and Paul Herwig, and a granddaughter, Payton Herwig. Danny was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. Glady and Danny shared a comfortable happy life. They truly exemplified the happiness and love that can be shared between two people. Danny was a special person with a gregarious personality who devoted his life to music and sharing his incredible talents with his friends, family, and everyone around him. His years as a professional entertainer began at a very young age and followed him through adulthood. He loved to tell the stories of his bandmates throughout those years and all the wonderful and crazy experiences they shared. He spent his later years as a music instructor. His students became his extended family. He loved them as his own. He truly enjoyed watching his students grow into young, successful adults making their own way and being a part of those journeys. You will be missed…we love you!
