A memorial service for Phyllis will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM - Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.
Phyllis Spader Acosta was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Zelda Garfinkel and Maximillian Spader on May 31, 1941. She married Ricardo Acosta Sr. in October 1957. She worked as a care giver her entire life as a CNA and Medical Assistant R.M.A .
Phyllis is survived by her children; Ricardo Acosta Jr., Daniel Acosta, Cheryl Acosta Lockwood (Scott), and " adopted daughter" Linda Acosta. She has 11 grandchildren: Ricardo Acosta III, Desiree-Nicole Rogers (Eric) Brian Dickey, Shannon Bridgman (Kyle), Nathaniel Acosta (Nicole) Brett Lockwood, Brooke Lestock (David) and12 great grandchildren.
