Peter S. Kieffer passed away at the age of 88 on October 3rd, 2021 from cancer. He was born in Englewood, NJ to Mary Phillips Schenck and Marcus Henderson Kieffer. He was raised with his 2 older sisters, Mary and Sally. He attended the University of Florida, was married and had 3 daughters: Lynn Roeder of Orlando, FL, Claire Peterson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Jann Morris of Berthoud, CO. He has 3 grandchildren: Lara Morris of Longmont, CO, Tamara Eldridge of Thornton, CO and Jarrad Roeder of Langhorne, PA. He was employed with FP&L for 30 years and was a 32nd degree Mason at the Mahi Temple in Miami. He will always be remembered for his decades of enthusiasm for the Miami Dolphins, his monkey collection, his love of wine and dogs, and his infectious laugh, but his love and devotion for his family and friends trumped everything he did in life.
Per Peter's wishes, he is being cremated. The immediate family will be gathering together in Orlando in November for a Celebration of his Life.
