With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, step-father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather, Jose P. Suarez. Also referred to as Joe and most often Pipa, on September 30, 2021.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1936, he loved his beloved Island, “La Isla de Encanto” with its beautiful heritage and his fond memories. In his early years, he worked in Finance becoming CFO for several San Juan based companies then moved his family to Florida in the early 1980’s and joined a national bank as an Asset Based Lending Bank Auditor for more than 25 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed traveling and being with his family.
Beloved husband to Dolores of 26 years, father to Joseph, Peter, Eduardo, Rene and Agustin. Step-father to Lia, Tania and Debra. Brother to James Rivera, Grandpa to Tiffany, Christopher, Eduardo Jr., Alexis, Gabriela, Justin, Kaitlyn, Sara, Maddison, Victor, Lucy and Zachary. Great Grandpa to Thomas, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
