Parker, John C. age 89 of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on February 9th, 2014 after an extended illness. He had been a local resident since 1949 after moving from Bay City, MI. John was a retired Eastern airline pilot. He is survived by his daughters: Ellen M. Brown and Catherine (Frank) Gstrein. Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 3-5pm at the funeral home. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10am, Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
