Jacqueline Elva Clare Douglas, daughter of the late Ivan Douglas who preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Jacki’es mother Joy resides in Port St. Lucie, which was her vacation home.
Jackie was born on October 17, 1963 in East Kingston Jamaica. She was educated at Norman Garden All Age Elementary School then Dunoon Technical High School. After graduation, Jackie was enrolled in Rose Leon School of Beauty, where she was a star-student She was featured on TV on several occasions, while styling hair etc. Jackie was a great cook so she loved to work on turning out weddings. She then migrated to Canada where she worked on her profession.
She was in charge of a Beauty Culture Shop because Jackie was a very skillful and a great hairdresser, she dearly lover her job. For many years, she lived in Canada, then became the mother of a son and daughter, Elroy and Tishaunna. Later, Jackie migrated to Florida accompanied by her two children. She got tired of the use of chemicals, so she quit hairdressing as a career. Jackie was employed at Aetna Insurance Company where she worked until she got seriously ill.
Jackie cherished her children, loves her mother who lives in Port St. Lucie. She took great care of her mother in sickness and in health. Jackie leaves to mourn two beloved children, Elroy Douglas and Tishaunna Douglas; mother Joy Ethel Davis, Sisters, Brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Rest in Peace!
A funeral service for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A burial will occur Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.
Jacqueline will be dearly missed.
