Elizabeth J. Holman

Elizabeth Rudasill, born in North Carolina, June 6, 1922. Elizabeth Nathan Jones of North Carolina in 1940. Elizabeth and Nathan bore a child, Vernice, on January 7, 1941. The couple remained in North Carolina until 1949 and migrated to New York.

Once there, Elizabeth contracted work as a caregiver and also remarried Mr. Matthew Holman. In 1992 they made the decision to move with her employment an shift to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Elizabeth is survived by her only child Vernice Skinner, three grandchildren Anthony William Skinner, Desiree Lee Skinner-Harrell and Jeannette Marie Skinner-Blaine. Seven great grandchildren Vernice M. Gonzalez, Tameka Skinner, Sharrell Skinner, Shanequa Skinner, Andre Blaine, Malcolm Blaine and Nashon Blaine. Three Great great grandchildren Henry W. Epps IV, Tyrell Skinner and William Skinner Jr.. Elizabeth also leaves behind siblings Ruby Dickerson and Freddie Rudasill as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews who mourn her departure.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home South in Davie, Florida.

Elizabeth will truly be missed.
