Dr. Edward B Brown - Providence RI, Waialua HI, Cherry Hill NJ, Monterey MA, Carefree AZ and Fort Lauderdale FL passed peacefully Wednesday February 15th after a long battle with Parkinson’s. A graduate of Brown University and Tufts University Medical School. Ed was a Captain in the US Army and served in Hawaii during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a successful pediatrician with multiple offices in the Cherry Hill NJ area and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ed’s family was his life. He’s predeceased by his wife of 58 years Rochelle(Wolk). He’s survived by son Eric and Wife Luz of Utah, son Todd and husband Rob of MA/Fort Lauderdale, son Jeffrey of NY, and daughter Julie and husband Craig of NY. He was a much loved Grampy to Kaley, Tim, Ross, Asher, and Ellie. He’s survived by his sister Gloria Horvitz and his special niece Penny Spellberg both of MA, and by many extended family and friends. Ed led a wonderful life, and though he struggled with his disease he always had a smile on his face and a kind word. A passionate world traveler, bee keeper, potter and pickle maker, He will be greatly missed. As Ed always said “Life . . . !” A memorial service TBD.
