Cynthia "Cindy" Coyle, born February 20th, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bob and Beverly Howard, died peacefully 12-20-2021. In the mid 1950's Bob Howard moved his family 1500 miles from Oklahoma City to Fort Lauderdale to start a life of business. Broward Glass, located at 610 NW 7th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL was in the family for 60 years, and Cindy took great pride in her father's business. Cindy attended and graduated from Stranahan High School in 1966. She attended Oklahoma City University and received her Masters in Education in 1973. In 1969 she married John W. Coyle III and together they had two children. John W. (Billy) Coyle IV and Robert (Bobby) Charles Coyle, her two sons were everything to Cindy. As a single mother she spent her entire life devoted to the raising of her children. She was a 42 year elementary school educator and loved teaching children. She taught several years at Harbordale Elementary and then over 20 years at Bennett Elementary in Fort Lauderdale. Just as with her sons she took an enormous pride in teaching and finished her career teaching Head Start with a strict, structured plan in place. Later in life she took great pride and joy in loving on her grandchildren. Cindy had an enormous heart and loved her family beyond belief. Her life long battle with diabetes took a quick turn for the worse and she passed peacefully. The family is in complete shock at Cindy's loss, but takes great relief in knowing that she did not struggle. Heaven gained an angel. She is predeceased by her parents Bob and Beverly Howard and her brother James Howard.
She is survived by her sister Sara Penland (Morris) of Macon, Georgia, John W. Coyle IV (Heather) Jack 14, Lilly 10, Liah 9, of Oklahoma City. Robert Charles Coyle, and son Charlie, 3 (Oklahoma City). The family would also like to thank Bruce Price for being Cindy's friend for over twenty years.
A memorial service will be held on Monday December 27th, 2021 @ 1:00 pm, First United Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale, 101 SE 3rd Avenue Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301.
