A Celebration of Life will be held in May 2022. Burial will be at Forest Park,
Illinois.
Walter Clyde Tomlinson, Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois to Walter Clyde and
Lavina Gertrude Tomlinson on January 16, 1935.
He retired from Ball Metal. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve and the United
States Air Force. He was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lavina Tomlinson, his
brother, Robert Jacob Tomlinson, and his sister, Betty Mae Kesler.
Walter Clyde Tomlinson, Jr. is survived by his son, Edward Tomlinson of Dixon, IL;
his sisters, June Lorraine Kern of Downers Grove, IL; Dolores Elaine Aszman of
Plainfield, IL; and Carol Clark Dustin, of Henderson, NV; his grandson Brandon
Giacobbe, of Woodridge, IL; his stepson, Jeffrey Giacobbe of Rock Falls, IL; and his
dear friend and caretaker, Holly Boelcke, of Dixon, IL.
