Bob Taylor will always lead the way.
He ran on ahead. He ran a good race.

Bob Taylor, almost 100!  Part of his long life "secret" was having Stacia Taylor as his partner for 54 years.  He had a wonderful career as an engineer, graduating from Northwestern U.  He and Stacia began running together and showed up for the first meeting of the Oak Park Runners Club in February 1982.  Bob was our first treasurer and Stacia the first Vice President.  They have been such loyal active members, both champions in their age groups and honored by the Chicago Area Runners Association.  Bob had wanted to gather again with some of the old running friends to remember the good times, and we regret that wish did not come true.   Ellie and I look forward to the future celebration of Bob's long happy life.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My prayers are with you.
