Philip J. Brokenshire, age 96. Beloved husband of the late Anne R. Brokenshire, nee Rotunno. Loving father of Catherine Brokenshire, Coletta (Cary) Behrendt, the late John (Linda) Brokenshire, and Mary Beth Brokenshire. Dear grandfather of Michael, Matthew, and Rachel Brokenshire, Daniel Behrendt and Elizabeth (Joseph) Hughes. Adoring great-grandfather of Hailey Behrendt, Conor and Cormac Hughes. Fond brother to the late John (late Dorothy) Brokenshire and the late Howard (late Harriet) Brokenshire. Brother-in-Law of the late Catherine (late Rocco) Lapetina, the late Carl (late Mary) Rotunno, and the late Virginia (late Anthony) Caponigri. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. On behalf of Philip, memorial donations may be made to Illinois Special Olympics or Habitat for Humanity. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 3:00-8:00PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130. Prayers will be held at 8:45AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 with the funeral mass to follow at 10:00AM located at Mater Christi Church, 2401 S 10 Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546. Interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
