It is with broken hearts that we mourn the passing of Kenneth Manuel Hernandez on April 21, 2023 at the age of 45 years old. Born on April 3, 1978, at Holy Cross Hospital, Kenny filled our lives with love from the moment he came into the world.
Beloved son of Roxann Galvan (Luis) and Kenneth Hernandez; Loving father of Adamaris, Aaliyah, and Emma. Big brother to Jennifer and Vincent Galvan, Salvador, Alberto, Aaron, and Lisette Hernandez. Grandson of Anita Buttner (Marcelino Ortega, deceased), predeceased by Hipolito and Dolores Hernandez, Godson and Nephew of Connie and John Tarasiewicz; Nephew of Loretta and Willie Saenz, Lucy Martinez (Thomas, deceased), Best Cousin to Johnny Serrano (Araceli), Nicole Shanna (Peter). Best friend to Roberto De La Torre, Oscar Rodriguez, Juan DeJesus, and David Burgert (Amalia) just to name a few. Nephew, Cousin, and Godfather to many loving family members.
Kenny graduated from St. Rita High School in 1996. He was the proud owner-operator of KMH Trucking and recently began working for Bigane Paving.
Kenny beamed with pride and joy for the 3 precious daughters he was blessed with. He enjoyed socializing with family and close friends, traveling, watching sports, listening to a variety of music and volunteering in the Little Village Community. One of his favorite jams - “Papa was a Rolling Stone.”
Kenny had an exceptional smile, unforgettable laugh, and big, captivating eyes. He had a charismatic personality leading to long lasting relationships. He was always there for his family and friends. Our Kenny Boy will be enormously missed, but the memories we shared will never be forgotten.
