Jacob T. Van Zant; age 20, resident of River Forest, former longtime resident of Forest Park, passed away suddenly February 2, 2013 in Belvidere, Illinois.
Jacob is survived by his father Rod Van Zant of River Forest, and mother Cathie (Allen) Stafford of Forest Park, as well as siblings Jamielynn (Chris) Costello, Jessica (Mike) Castronova, and Presley, Allen "A.J.", Mackenzie and Abigail Stafford; and grandparents James and Linda Myrtle. He was the Godchild of John Tidd, Ronnie Taylor and Gloria Bak. Jacob was a very dear nephew and cousin to many, and a friend to countless others.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Doreen Van Zant.
A visitation will take place Thursday February 7th, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd, Forest Park from 3-9 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 7PM.
