Stolar, Naomi (April 30, 1945 - February 14, 2022) Predeceased by her first husband, Julian Amkraut and her second husband, Stanley Stolar. Beloved daughter of Ruth and Sidney Schindler. Naomi graduated from Jamaica High School and Mount Holyoke College and earned a Master's degree at Johns Hopkins. She returned to Jamaica High School to teach mathematics. A truly gifted teacher, admired by her students for over 30 years. Naomi is survived by her devoted sister Susan Schindler, her stepchildren Eric (Helen) Amkraut, Brian (Davida ) Amkraut , Daniel (Nathalie) Amkraut, Fran (Sharon Hillel) Amkraut, Brian (Sandy) Stolar, Sanford (Allison) Stolar and Lee Stolar and a loving contingent of step-grandchildren.
