David was born on September 17, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY. He attended elementary through high school in Brooklyn and went on to graduate with a BA from City College. As a youngster, David will be remembered by his family for his fun-loving nature and natural ability as a graceful ice skater.
Working for many years in the music publishing industry, he met some important clients such as Paul and Linda McCartney. He then moved on to working for Liberty Travel in Manhattan where he was employed for twenty- five years as a travel agent.
David did much traveling with his husband Ed, with whom he lived happily for 33 yrs. He was a dog lover and had two adorable Shiatsus, Jezebel and Winston.
Being part of a small family, David remained close with his cousins and had good friends which included some of his clients. He was predeceased by his husband Ed Schrier, sister Raye Fletcher and his parents Loris and Morton Wolfson.
David is survived by his cousins Janice Drewing of Miami, FL, Melanie Levine-Kinne of Ludlow, VT. And her daughter, Meara Elliott-Kinne of Boston,MA. He leaves behind his loving and best friend of many years, Susan Merrill of NYC and his very good friends, Beverly Samuels and Fern Pops of Queens,NY.
