David was the love of my life. He always tried to make me laugh and he did. You had a good friend in David if you knew him. He lived for his cruising and enjoyed meeting people. My husband's smile would cheer everyone up. I have heard and talked to so many wonderful people about him.It makes a little easier to go on without him. I'm still in my disbelief stage. I know what it means to have heartache. I will always have him in my heart.

I was a co-worker with David at Stop and Shop for the last few years. We often talked whenever we worked the same shift. What i remember most is how full of life he was, looked forward with life after his surgery. Such a die hard Mets fan, loved the team always talked about going to games, would joke around with me because i am a Yankee fan. Sadly also a Jets fan, he joked about that too, since OF COURSE he is a giants fan. We may have connected through sports, but as people he was always a warm and kind person. Worked hard always even though deeply he was uncomfortable due to health reasons. Sadly i wont be able to attend the funeral but my sincere condolences go out to his family and his loved ones. May he rest peacefully. God bless.

I can't imagine life without your wonderful positive attitude and your huge heart. You were a dear friend...  more like family. I will miss you so much.  Thank you for your friendship and for being the best running buddy in the world. Rest in Peace.

My friend and my brother, I will miss you so much. The memories we shared will forever be in my heart.

Our daily commutes to college, the many nights we ate at beef steak Charlies,  the  crazy nights at the Disco in Commack.

Lastly, I will miss our conversations where you always called me Brother Bill.

Rest in peace my friend. So sorry the distance from North Carolina  is too great for me to attend your service in person.

I will be praying for your soul and your family in this difficult time.
