Thalia came to this country from Thessaloniki, Greece in 1969, with a big heart and huge dreams. She quickly learned the language, became a real estate salesperson, and then a real estate broker. She started her own real estate business and then purchased a dilapidated building that she transformed into a professional office building. While real estate was her second love, her family was her first. She was happiest around her daughter and her grandkids, and helped them both emotionally and financially. Her parents she cherished while they were alive, and loved her brothers and sisters with all her might. Her nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews were always in her heart and she was quite proud of their accomplishments. Most importantly Thalia had a close and loving relationship with God, attending church regularly and giving to others. She would cook and deliver food to her friends, she gave to an orphanage in Greece, her clothes were never thrown out instead they were donated to the needy, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She was extremely intelligent, hard-working, and had so much energy she was hard to keep up with. She will remain always in our hearts.
