Salvatore Canale

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Canale and a loving father to Joseph, Robert, James, and Michael Canale. Salvatore was also a cherished grandfather to Britni, Zachary, Gabriella, Matthew, Eleanor, and Olivia. He was a dear brother to Tina, Louise, and John.

A proud United States Army veteran, Salvatore was a true patriot who deeply loved his country and treasured his family above all else. Inspired by his admiration for John Wayne, he aspired to live with the same strength and rugged spirit, even dreaming of being a cowboy. Salvatore’s legacy is one of unwavering love, service, and dedication to those he held dear.

The family of Salvatore will be receiving visitors at the Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11358 on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew Avellino RC Church, 35-61 158th Street, Flushing, New York 11358. Interment to follow at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, New York, NY 11358.
