Palma was born on October 4th, 1934 to Antonio & Maria Rosselli in Castrofilippo Sicily. Although Palma grew up with her husband Salvatore in Castrofilippo, they didn’t start dating until 1956 when they met again at a train station in Astoria Queens on Palma’s way home from work. Palma and Salvatore went on to have two children, Charlie and Luisa. Palma adored her five grandchildren, Christina, Alexa, Michelle, Nicholas and Kristen. She was fortunate enough to meet her great grandchildren, Liam, Sienna, Olivia, Harrison and Toula.
Palma was a selfless woman who lived to take care of everyone around her. Whether it was family, friends, or even strangers, it was evident that she lived to help others.
Her greatest joy was cooking, and as her grandchildren would recall, she would cook for them at any time of the day or night. Whether it was her famous meatballs, spare ribs, chicken rollatini, or pastina , she would be happy to cook for anyone at any time.
She will be missed deeply by all of those who she touched, which were many.
