Dear Prim, Aaron, Wei and the Young Family,

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my close business colleague and dear friend,  Michael Young. We had a very special relationship that grew from a professional one,  to a friendship that spanned nearly 40 years.

I first met Michael as a Product Manager for the Bulova Watch Company in 1984. I was assigned to work on a project to develop the Dimension Clock Line, targeted to be the world's thinest wall clock. Michael was the lead designer offering technical support. After our first meeting, I felt thankful that at least one of us knew what they were doing. That product line proved to be successful and Michael was my "new go to guy" for anything that was a design challenge even if it was from my own employees.

Over the years Michael and I developed a close friendship. Especially, on my many China trips I always felt better having him with me to offer advise, support, encouragement and understanding. He had a good working rapport with the factories and I think these relationships helped in his company's business as well as mine.  It was a perfect win win relationship.

What was special for me was that my work with Michael lead to working with Wei when I started my own company. Both Michael and I were so proud that our relationship could extend to Wei.

He was so proud of his family especially his grandchildren and we spent many hours talking about our loving families. He loved  traveling and enjoyed his time in Hong Kong.

I feel fortunate to have known Michael and will cherish these many memories for the rest of my life.
