She was surrounded by her loving children, Irene (Larry) Hotzoglou, Chrisanthi (Victor) Tzannes, and Harry (Christina) Yanakis and also by her adored grandchildren Constance (Steve) Panagioulakis, Anthony (Nicole) Hotzoglou, Caterina (Konstantinos) Aprilakis and Eve (Chris) Kohlios.
Katina was born in New York City on February 21, 1930. She was the loving wife to George Yanakis (deceased).
She was a beautiful kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her warm smile and the values she instilled will be forever in the hearts of her family.

Funeral Liturgy to be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York 11358. Interment to follow at Flushing Cemetery, 163-04 46th Avenue, Flushing, New York 11358.
