Diana Birbilis, a treasured wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George, in 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Spanos and Dena (Mark) Shea; by four grandchildren, Nicholas Spanos, George (Christie) Spanos and Michael and Kristofer Runde; and by two great grandchildren, Katie and Sarah Spanos. Diana worked alongside her husband in the travel industry for many years. She loved to cook her Greek recipes, including her famous Tsoureki and Koulourakia. She was a big Yankee fan and would attend games with her grandson, Nicholas. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that a Donation be made in Diana’s name to the Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center.
