Bin Yin Hung (nee Cheng) was born on June 15, 1928 in Enping County, Guangdong Province, China. She is the youngest child of Hou Lien Cheng (father) and Chun Mau Cen (mother). After her studies, she worked in banking and education in Guangzhou; where she met her husband Yi Min Hung (Antonio). They married in 1946 and had four children; in the nineteen fifties her husband moved to Venezuela, S. A., for the family business.
Bin Yin, together with her children and mother-in-law, reunited with her husband in Kowloon, Hong Kong during 1957. Their youngest daughter was born in Hong Kong a month after Yi Min returned to Venezuela. After living ten years in Hong Kong, she emigrated with her five children to Venezuela and reunited with her husband. While raising their five children, she worked alongside her husband in the family business.
After her husband passed away in 1985, Bin Yin joined her children and grandchildren in Queens, NY. Though she heard the gospel as a student in Guangzhou; it was not until 2004 she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. In March 27, 2005 she was baptized and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Flushing.
She was a kind, generous, sincere, responsible and loving person. She always put other people’s feeling before her own. She is survived and loved by her son Antonio (Ka Ken), daughters Josephine, Yolanda (Siu), Lila and Carmen. Daughter-in-law: Chi Tan. Sons-in-law: Alejandro (Alex) and Andy. Grandsons: Andy, Danny, Alvin and Alan. Granddaughters: Carolina (husband: Kurt) and Bonnie (husband: Michael).
