It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Benjamin Alcantara Manlunas, age 68, of Jamaica, New York, who passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. Benjamin was a loving husband to Carolina L. Manlunas, a devoted father to Megan Manlunas and Jonna (Rey) Formentera, and a cherished grandfather to Louis and Sophia. He was also a beloved brother to Jose, Angel Jr., Eugenio, and Lorenzo.
Benjamin was an Army veteran who loved the outdoors, with passions for fishing, hunting, basketball, and tennis. His joyful spirit and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to visit the family at the Frederick Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas of Tolentine RC Church, with private cremation to follow.
Benjamin's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
