Arthur Walters Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday March 6, 2023, at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd. Flushing, New York 11358.

Arthur (Artie) was born in Alexandria, VA to Rita Mary (Smith) and Arthur Walters Sr. on October 2, 1947. He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of Local #3 I.B.E.W. for 52 years where he was actively involved with the Allied Club, the POW/MIA and the Sportsmen’s Club, amongst others. He was a member of the American Legion Post #131 in Whitestone, NY where he previously served as Commander and Post #8 in Las Vegas, NV where he served as Sergeant at Arms.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Walters (Augienello) of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Jeanna and husband Kevin Hilton of Haymarket, VA; daughter Andrea and husband Sean Jody of Haymarket, VA; Grandchildren Landon, Matthew, and Harper; Brother-in-law Joseph and wife Susan Augienello, Brother-in-law Michael and wife Debra Augienello, Sister-in-law Kathleen Walters and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
