Born July 30, 1932 to Anna E (Clifton) and Charles F Foell in Syracuse, NY. Died October 24, 2021.
Anne lived most of her life in Bayside, Queens. She moved there as a child, graduating high school from Bayside High School. She recounted stories about meeting her father at the train station after he was done with work when she was a teen. They used to share a bicycle back home.
She worked in Manhattan in the advertising industry as a secretary, retiring in her 50’s. She was a life-long fan of the Mets, of course. She was a gifted bowler and she played softball as a young woman for her church, Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Bayside. Lately, she was involved in the Sacred Heart Leisure Club, where she played games, did puzzles and got up to much good with her friends.
Anne was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Charles C Foell and John F Foell, and a nephew, Thomas S Foell. She is survived by a dozen nieces and nephews, who loved her much.
Love and smooches to Aunt Anne, the Great.
