Fay Thresa Kenrick, age 93, of Flushing, Michigan was born May 14,1931 and passed away on December 20, 2024 surrounded by her family and all things she loved. Fay was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late George and Ruth (Beasinger) Belanger.
She was the oldest of 15 children. Fay was a graduate of Hillsdale College earning a Bachelor's Degree in teaching. Fay married Robert Kenrick in June of 1956, and they bore 5 children. She loved her family very much, and her children and grandchildren were her world. Fay was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time at the beach and at the cottage in Black Lake. She loved gardening, was an avid reader and very active in her church. She was loved very much and will be missed dearly.
Surviving are her children; Greg (Julie) Kenrick, Brad (Denise) Kenrick, Hally (Walter) Lepczyk and Matthew (Tammy) Kenrick, grandchildren; Bradley, Hunter, Olivia, Luke, Bailey, Matthew, Kane and his wife M. Maxine, and three of Fay's siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert, daughter; Amy, aunt: Edna and her siblings.
A visitation for Fay will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Fay will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
