Rhonda Kay Freytag, age 65 of Seabrook, Texas passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020 at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. She was born November 29, 1954 to Loretta Mae Greive Freytag and Kenneth Roy Freytag.
She was a Lifetime Committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Rhonda was formerly employed by Chase Bank and currently employed by B & D Masonry Contractors, Inc.
Rhonda is survived by her mother Loretta Freytag of Flatonia, Texas, three brothers; Kenneth D. Freytag and wife, Sharon of Seabrook, Texas, Keith A. Freytag and wife, Cindy of Pasadena, Texas and Kirk G. Freytag and wife, Jenny of Fort Worth, Texas, five nieces; Jennifer Freytag, Nichole Freytag, Hillary Freytag, Haley Vazquez and husband Jhonathan and Kassidy Freytag, one nephew; Kolby Freytag and wife Erin, two great nephews; Wyatt and Lincoln and one great niece; Emery.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Freytag.
Active Pallbearers will be Rodney Hutcherson, Kolby Freytag, Chris Kopecky, Gary Freytag, Anthony Dixon and Jhonathan Vazquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wyatt Freytag, Thomas Roberts and John Pace.
Visitation for Rhonda will be Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 from 1-4 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, Texas with Father Eddie Winkler officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or a Charity of your choice.
